Midnight Mass

        If you like the terror, probably you watch "Doctor Sleep" (the secuel of The Shining), or "The Hunting of Hill House, or your'e listened that Stephen King loves them. The director of that two works is Mike Flanagan. One of the most undervalue directors of the area (comparates with Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) or James Wan(The Conjuring, Saw)).

The New work of Mike Flannagan is Midnight Mass, Produced by Netflix, the serie tell us the story of a little town in a island, the people in the town is very much religious... In words of Alejandro G. Calvo: "people are so religious that they can embrace a macabre act as a blessing from god"

Midnight Mass put us in the skin of a traumatized man for killing a woman in a fatal accident of car (he was drunk in the moment and it was his fault). The serie is based in dialogues about all. and this is the most interesting of Midnight Mass. Because Mike Flanagan use the terror for showing us a very interesting reflection about the human, the dead, God, etc...

The Serie could convert the terror in beauty.

Be carefull: is a SLOWLY serie, don't watch it searching something funny.
