The Battle Of Santiago

 I remember be sick. I was in sixth grade o basic education, I bought my tickets with my father, the name of the concert is Makinaria Festival, I was in bed in the morning but I couldn't miss the concert. It was a mythical concert. 3 biggers international artist in one concert. At first played Mars Volta, in that time i never listen Mars Volta before, It was a strange sensation, i just remember a mix of light brown, red and green. We were in the Andes (a gallery in the side of the stadium). We saw how the ground was separated in "cancha" and "cancha vip(near the artist)". It had a separation of around 4 meters between each one. Very much people try to jump the fence and try to advance to "cancha vip", but they can't do the odyssey.

After Mars Volta starts to played a band what i couldn't value at the time: Suicidal Tendences!!. A powerfull band, very energetic. The people starts to a fight in a "mosh", and i saw that in a semi zenith angle.

in that caos, the unthinkable happened. A men could pass the fence, avoid the guards and go to cancha vip. it was amazing, i remember all the stadium clapping for the "Ulisses" of the day, it was very funny because all of us were expectant for that moment.

Thats was the first song of Rage Agains The Machine!! The fences fail, all of people could pass the fences, the stadium was fully, the guards doesn't have nothing to do with that crowd.

The last of I remember of that day is the reverence of the group.

I arrive to my home with fever... but it was worth it.
